| 1. Cold Aggregate Feeder Unit |

The
hoppers have been properly designed with slopes, allowing a constant
discharge without bridge forming. The first bin meant for the small
size aggregate or dust is fitted with vibratory motor to ensure the
free flow. Each hopper is equipped with an adjustable opening door that
determines the discharge quantity for the materials capacity in outlet,
as a function of specific weight of materials.
The
material is drawn out from the hoppers by means of extracting conveyor
driven by a preset-able adjustable variable drive motor, coupled with worm gear boxes,
that enables to increase or decrease the material output as per the job
mix formula requirements. It is also possible to increase or decrease
the total capacity without varying the preset settings by means of
master control.
The vibratory screen is assembled at the end of cold aggregate feeder for removal of oversized materials.

| 2. Dryer & Mixing Unit |
|
The
Dryer unit is long rotating cylindrical drum. It is mounted on sturdy
and robust steel structure. The whole structure is having adjustable
height legs to give proper degree to the unit for accurate results.

The electronic two-stage high-pressure jet burner is mounted on the chassis on the input side.
The
rotation of Drum is through heavy-duty gearbox, coupled with motor
through suitable coupling. The Drum is also supported by 4 Nos. of
Trunnions rollers running on heavy-duty bearings.

This drum is divided into two zones viz.
1. HEATING + DRYING ZONE
2. MIXING ZONE

The thermo-drum is completely insulated with ceramic glass wool and covered with Stainless Steel sheet
to prevent the heat losses and to save fuel as well as the life of the
drum.Before the mixing zone a suitable flame guard is provided to
restrict the burner flame to reach up to the mixing zone.
The
special 8 mm thick 'J' type flights + 'W' type comb flights have been
bolted in the both the zones in the zigzag / straight pattern for best
mixing.
The
dust collecting system mounted on same chassis allows optimum
efficiency in accordance with the present ecological regulations.
The
dryer and mixing drum is provided with sweep discharge chute on the
side of the mixer with replaceable type chute liners and it will
discharge the material directly on the load out conveyor.

| 3. Dryer Burner |
|
Thermo
- drum Burner is the heart of the entire system hence its efficiency,
ease of serviceability etc. are most important factors.

- Capacity to reduce the moisture up to 0.5% and achieve 180 Deg Celsius for aggregate.
- Able to use LDO/ FO/ diesel as fuel.

| 4. Asphalt (Bitumen) Tank |

Fully
insulated double walled tank is equipped with separate high-pressure
electronic burner for heating the Asphalt and control unit capable of
metering and spraying required quantity of bitumen at specified
temperature.

Burners are fitted with remote control system to detect flame failure and have Electric spark ignition system.
The temperature is controlled through thermostatic control device to heat bitumen in desired temperature range

| 5. Load Out Convyer |
|
Mixed
hot material taken out from mixer drum is carried by inclined hot
conveyor belt & discharged into the Tipper/Truck through automatic
Hydraulic surge storage hopper.
The surge storage hopper of approximately 350 to 1000 kgs is provided at the discharge end of the conveyor.
The
surge storage hopper is hydraulically actuated, for opening and closing
hopper door and scrapper plate to scrape out the mixed material
sticking to the conveyor.

6. Computerized Control Panel With A.C. Cabin
|
Insulated Control Cabin Fitted With Air Conditioner . Micro
Controller Based Control Panel With Printer And Computer Affording
Total Control Of The Plant From The Keyboard With The Relevant Software.
Salient Features :

The plant is supplied with centralized Control Panel.

All controls, including the motor control center circuit breakers, are provided in the control panel.

The
control Panel comprises of the Automatic Burner Controls, Aggregate and
Asphalt Blending Controls, Motor Controls, Feeder Bin Controls and
Electric Switchgear.

All
the parameters like, temperature of bitumen-hot mix material-exhaust
gases and aggregate weight, asphalt percentage, hot mix material weight
etc. are displayed on the control panel.

It is equipped with protections like Single Phasing, Overload, fuses, Sequence Interlock etc.
-
Load wise data can be printed on the printer provided in the panel.
